<p>Prospecting leads is hard enough but using an affiliate program makes it easier. What an affiliate program is, is where you are allowing other marketers to sell your<br />
product or program. You only have to pay when they make a sale. They have<br />
to cover all the marketing expenses out of their own pocket, which is great<br />
for you. The key is to make sure you reward your affiliates accordingly and make things as easy as possible for them.</p>
<p>First we need to get an affiliate program set-up. So go to your favorite search engine and look up affiliate program systems. Find the affiliate program you are most comfortable with and go with them. They will install everything you need and explain how to use their system. Your prospecting for leads will get easier because your affiliate program is in place.</p>
<p>Next we need to find affiliates. You can advertise wherever you please but I would suggest advertising for affiliates on clickbank.com. Remember the higher the commissions are that you pay, the better the affiliates you will get. If you only pay 10% of everything they sell you will not land the big affiliates. Try 50% and watch what happens. Here is a very good tip: Go to elance.com and hire people to get power affiliates for you. Only pay them 10 bucks per power affiliate they get and only once the affiliate has signed up with you.</p>
<p>Once you have your affiliate program in place all you have to worry about is getting new affiliates. Always reward your top affiliates with a cash bonus or a vacation to show them their work is appreciated. Contests are also a great way get more sales from your affiliates. Part of the complaint arises because we get hit with different headlines that point to the same content. So we waste time on things that have no added value. Bummer.</P><br />
<P>When you email your list or put up content on your site, and assuming you want to generate loyalty, it&#8217;s necessary that you have content others haven&#8217;t seen a dozen times elsewhere.</P><br />
<P>If this makes sense to you, here are some ideas you can use to EASILY generate fresh content with a minimal amount of time and effort.</P><br />
<P>First of all, think about a subject in which you are interested. Let&#8217;s say it&#8217;s horticulture. Now if you&#8217;re not aware of it, let me put you in the picture. Most people do web searches from Google&#8217;s home page and stop there. Not at all creative. Not at all digging for information from which to develop original content.</P><br />
<P>So let&#8217;s go exploring&#8230;</P><br />
<P>1 - Google has lots of tools besides just web searches. They let you check the news. (http://news.google.com) As of this writing, there are 1,680 news items listed by Google on the word horticulture. Bet you could easily do a summary of some of these articles and create your own content. But let&#8217;s not stop there.</P><br />
<P>2 - Google also has &#8220;groups.&#8221; (http://groups.google.com/) These are folks who like to discuss *your* subject. So now you can go even farther. Look up horticulture in their groups. Now this information is potentially gold. Why? Because you can see what it is about horticulture that lots of folks are interested in.</P><br />
<P>Think you might be able to do a little research and come up with a free or even a for-profit report that gives them what they want?</P><br />
<P>Check out Google&#8217;s other tools, too. You can even get research info from universities through Google. Start here: http://www.google.com/intl/en/options/</P><br />
<P>3 - Next method: Do this search (keeping in the punctuation as written):</P><br />
<P>+horticulture +free +filetype:pdf</P><br />
<P>As of this writing, Google shows 196,000 hits for this query. What you get here are free downloads in pdf format about your subject.</P><br />
<P>Now you can&#8217;t simply copy and use it as your own information. You have to create your writing in your own words. But there&#8217;s no law that says you can&#8217;t summarize what you find in other people&#8217;s works. To make the point, you could even call your work something like: &#8220;Survey Report: Latest from the Horticulture Front!&#8221;</P><br />
<P>4 - Go to Alexa.com. Do a search on your subject, in this example, horticulture. It provides the exact same results as Google because it&#8217;s powered by Google. So why bother, right? Wrong. Because Alexa *does* provide value added information.</P><br />
<P>When you do the search, you don&#8217;t want to click the link that takes you to the listed site. Instead you want to follow the link that says &#8220;Site info.&#8221; When you do this, you&#8217;ll find a section called: &#8220;People who visit this page also visit.&#8221; This can be very valuable because it potentially shows *what the marketplace is interested in.* This can enable you to tailor your information product to what people want.</P><br />
<P>These are just some of the easy ways to branch out your explorations and find gold to weave into golden braids.</P><br />

Ask the person if he is willing to add an endorsement in his signature to your business. In exchange, you could give him compensation (weekly or monthly) or give him free access to your site.</p>
<p>2) Hire someone to find some quality reciprocal linking partners for your business. You can use one of the popular freelancing sites, such as Guru, Elance, or Rentacoder. Make sure the person you select finds sites and secures deals without spamming &#8211; and also make sure that the person knows that you want to exchange non-directory links.</p>
<p>3) Promote your site to search engines with better on-page optimization. For example, you could start by conducting keyword research for your given niche. You could then optimize each page at a 1.5 &#8211; 3% density for that selected keyword. In addition, you could even add new pages to your index that function to capture visitors and hopefully get them to consider products.</p>

<p>Are you a mortgage broker marketing to Realtors? How many times have made a call to a Realtor and found them incredibly annoyed because you had interrupted their day? Did they read you the riot act or tell you how much they enjoy working with your competition? One of the most challenging aspects of mortgage broker marketing is getting the Realtor attention.</p>
<p>It is frustrating to be given the cold shoulder, especially when you know that more often than not the Realtor spends a significant amount of time socializing with others in the office. You know that it is not the agent time alone that is the problem.</p>
<p>Why spend any more time marketing to Realtors that are not interested in working with you? When you use permission marketing, your mortgage broker marketing efforts are far more productive.</p>
<p>In essence, permission marketing means acquiring permission to pursue relationships with Realtors. Like most relationships, you do not automatically create a friendship or connection. Instead, you seek out permission to move to a new level in the relationship, with each level creating a stronger bond.</p>

<p>Your goal is to establish yourself as a resource and a partner to the Realtor. The more you provide this foundation, the more the Realtor pays attention to your marketing.</p>
<p>Permission Marketing Means Providing Bite Size Pieces</p>
<p>With mortgage broker marketing using the permission process, you extend information gradually to your prospect. Imagine being stuck on a plane with someone who immediately gives you their entire life story. How frustrated are you by the end of the flight? Do you want to continue to stay in contact with this individual? Probably not.</p>
<p>But you are far more likely to be intrigued with a relaxed give and take. You can use this concept with your permission marketing plan. You develop your materials in a step by step process that gradually shares information.</p>

<p>If you&#8217;ve exposed yourself to offers on The Internet, after a while you may become familiar with the syndrome my inbox suffers: High Volume Familiar Leave Alones. (HVFLA)</p>
<p>High Volume because there are a lot of them; Familiar because you recognize the senders&#8217; names; Leave Alones because you never open their emails.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ve thought about unsubscribing from their list, but then someday you might have more time to read what they clearly think is so important, and someday they might have something un-missable. </p>
<p>But the one time you did actually read something from them it didn&#8217;t make you want to sing from the rooftops. So, deep down, you know its unlikely you&#8217;ll ever actually read their mails again. Still, for the time being, because its not making your hair stand on end, you&#8217;re happy to let these HVFLA&#8217;s sit around and go unread in your inbox. </p>
<p>I&#8217;m terrible. My inbox heaves with FLAs. Maybe I give the benefit of the doubt too easily. There are several people who email me regularly and although I barely take the blindest bit of notice about what they&#8217;re saying, I have formed an opinion of them. Sometimes its good, sometimes not. Either way, I don&#8217;t unsubscribe enough.</p>
<p>And lets face it, its so much better than it was in the days of uncontrolled spam. Back then I used to take a heavy brush to my email box and delete them in droves, and even that wasn&#8217;t enough. They were everywhere &#8211; I&#8217;d spend half an hour every morning ridding myself of useless offerings of viagra, or high-flying stocks and shares, or the promise of a huge manhood in just 30 days&#8230; sometimes I&#8217;d be a little clumsy and delete some important emails in the process.</p>
<p>Phew! Lets take a moment to thank the Good Lord for anti-spam software.</p>
<p>Yes, things are definitely better now. </p>
<p>But if you send email regularly to your opt-in list, how can you prevent them becoming HVFLAs? Here I will recommend a few tactics I use to build loyalty from my lists.</p>
<p>Its important in your early emails to introduce yourself well. Give some background about who you are, why you know what you do, and why people listen to you about it. Cut the groove between modesty and conceit, you don&#8217;t want too much of either but before your list will do anything, its got to respect you first.</p>
<p>Autoresponders make our life easier. You can plan what you&#8217;re going to say and when you&#8217;re going to say it, load the mails into your autoresponder and then leave it on autopilot knowing everyone will get their mail on time as you planned. Great, that&#8217;s the technicalities dealt with, but what are you going to deliver? What can you do to keep a prospect&#8217;s attention through to mailing 5? </p>
<p>OK well here are some ideas&#8230;</p>
<p>You can do an e-course on your chosen subject of interest. This is a good starting point because if its planned well it will take your prospects through a learning process in sequential order. They will need all ten emails to benefit. I offer courses such as this at listmission.com and thefreedomlist.com. Once the course is over, those who have completed it have something to thank me for. I&#8217;ve educated them on profitable websites and list-building and for that, I maintain their trust and loyalty through the further mails I send them. </p>
<p>Of course you can&#8217;t please everybody all the time and you&#8217;re bound to get some dropping off, but that&#8217;s no bad thing. If they&#8217;re really not interested in your subject-matter after all then you don&#8217;t want them anyway.</p>
<p>You can tell a story. Engage your prospects with a sequential trail of discovery plotting a series of events to do with your subject of interest. Like a good novelist, try and leave them on the edge after the end of each chapter so they have a burning desire to read your next mail. </p>
<p>Just remember this: You can lead a horse to water, but sometimes it will only drink if it wonders what the water tastes like. Your list won&#8217;t always be thirsty, but you can keep their interest by raising curiosity in the same way. Phrases like &#8211; Be prepared for anything you might find inside the member&#8217;s area, there are surprises waiting &#8211; for example, will get your list curious for more.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t feel the inspiration to write anything yourself, you can always outsource it to someone else &#8211; or, at no cost, you can simply download some articles from ezinearticles.com or any other article directory. Then put them into a sensible order and interject with your own comments and recommendations. If you use this method, just be sure to leave in the copyright info and any links the author has included. You might think that this isn&#8217;t nearly as good as writing your own material, but as long as you add some value to it with your own input, insight or just in the way you tie them together then it can be very effective.</p>
<p>Another idea is to automate reminders about your product or service after you&#8217;ve announced it. For example, if you announce an offer is available for a limited time only, remind your customers 3 or 4 times before the deadline date arrives with increasing urgency each time. This also works if you&#8217;ve caught their attention with news of a future product launch. Keep reminding them of how close it is to the launch date. Build some buzz.</p>

<p>This is very important because people search information at Google using keywords or keyphrases. They are the topics they are interested in. </p>
<p>Normally you can use tens or hundreds of targeted keywords to be able to reach enough prospects.  And to test which ones are working at ads in Google. Then just skip those, which did not bring the traffic.</p>
